Tremco illbruck has introduced Duralite, a high performance warm edge spacer system for use in the production of dual and triple pane insulating glass units.

The patented Duralite design features composite laminating technology without the use of metal, resulting in excellent thermal and durability performance.   The multilayer spacer uses well proven components, sealants and desiccants to ensure improved condensation resistance, a warmer edge of glass temperature, a smoother surface appearance and longer-lasting argon gas retention.

Duralite is designed for high-volume production insulating glass units in a one-step process where units are sealed using heat and compression.   Designed as a single seal system, Duralite can also be used with a secondary sealant to create a dual seal unit.
