Interspan All-Metal jointing systems comprise a highly engineered aluminium section with rubber cord seals where appropriate. The sections are generally rebated to provide an attractive, skid resistant surface, flush with the floor finish. The profiles provide a durable and highly effective solution for heavy duty applications where large structural movement may occur.
Industrial Mechanical Movement Joints
Interspan Industrial joint systems include profiles that have been developed for installation into areas that require good resistance to chemical environments.
Additionally, there are stainless steel joints that allow for completely ‘bump-free’ transit - important in areas where fragile loads are being carried.
Light Commercial Mechanical Movement Joints
Interspan jointing systems comprise an integral self adjusting sandwich of a high quality elastomeric profile located between a range of engineered aluminium sections. The inserts are available in a number of colours to compliment the floor covering of choice. In addition, a number of the joint systems offer brass or stainless steel capping pieces.
Other Mechanical Movement Joints
A full range of ancillary products required to support the correct installation and operation of Compriband Mechanical Movement Joints are supplied by Tremco illbruck. These include: fireproof seals, vapour seals, epoxy mortar and fixings.
Specialist sealants for the interface between the floor finish and the mechanical movement are also available.
Wall Mechanical Movement Joints
Walls that straddle expansion joints should also express the movement joint in their construction. Interspan Wall Joints offer a range of solutions for this type of construction detail and cater for varying wall finish thicknesses be they, plaster, plasterboard or a cladding system.
If specified, the inserts can be supplied on a roll rather than in pre-cut lengths. When used in external applications, this will provide a weatherproof joint.
Spanseal sections provide a functional and decorative trim for internal and external joints.
